it's sucks to be told your whole life that you're something special only to realize one day that you're not

last week i started a conversation with a girl in my class to be nice and this is exactly how it went:

me: so did you study any over break?

her: no not really

me: i did a little

her: i'm gonna study abroad in hokkaido this summer, though

me: cool

her: so....do you like anime and manga?

me: i'm only reading one and watching one

her: oh...

carrying a bag of 15 of the most insanely interesting books on japan and china in one hand and a 40 and a sparks in the other pretty neatly sums up the pinnacle of my college experience

why would I not want to live in America and study Japanese and Chinese?

1 pair leg warmers @ 30$
