carrying a bag of 15 of the most insanely interesting books on japan and china in one hand and a 40 and a sparks in the other pretty neatly sums up the pinnacle of my college experience

today China surpassed Germany to become the world's third largest economy.
so that leaves it like this:

1. America
2. Japan
3. China

why would I not want to live in America and study Japanese and Chinese?

i realized tonight that i wouldn't have a problem morally eating a buffalo burger from a that buffalo that roamed a field during its life and died naturally.

as long as i don't have to cook it. gross.

today i found an American Apparel receipt outside the trash area for my apartment.

on said receipt:

1 pair leg warmers @ 30$

for a grand total of--with tax, 80$
